South Goa Region

South Goa district is bounded by North Goa to it's north, Karnataka to it's east and south and Arabian Sea to it's west. The region is calm and quiet with many luxury hotels, untouched beaches, clear water. It attracts most of the upper middle class or the rich class society of India. Also due to it's silent beaches it attracts huge number of international tourists who love to stay at the beach huts.
The fact is you will find more number of international tourists than Indian tourists. The main administrative headquarters of the district is Margao. If you want to go South Goa then be ready to sun n sand.
If you love nature and beaches, South Goa is the place. Don't visit North Goa. If you want to have a luxury holiday then South Goa offers you a lot.
Agonda,Palolem, Cansaulim, Canacona, Varca, Colva, etc. are the famous beaches in South Goa.

Agonda

Agonda Beach is one of the best beaches in India.  Agonda beach is a ideal for swimming,relaxing and sun bathing. Agonda has one long beach road and most of the hotels and restaurants are on the side of the road. The beach is calm, quiet with just a limited beach shacks and clear water.

Palolem

Palolem beach is knows for it's beauty. It's about on a hours drive from the district headquarters Margao.

Cola

Cola beach is so calm, beautiful and pleasant. It's very less explored, no tar road access and has a beautiful sweet water lake. It's about 10kms from Agonda. It's a remote beach.

#Cola beach is the only attraction. The beach has a sweet water lake where you can enjoy Kayaking.
